Young Kids Classes
A great curriculum of French language designed for children
A new Young Kids program is introduced to the kids aged 6 years old
for Pedagogical purposes. In the Young Kids classes, we aim to develop their speaking and listening skills as well as build the
foundation of reading and writing skills.
Our approach
6 years old is a key age for learning. Kids enter Primary school where they acquire the basics of writing and already have to manage at least 2 main languages. At Alliance fran?aise we have a section specifically designed for this particular age and address the ability of your kid to enter into a foreign language like French.
With the use of the new textbook La Récré (in partnership with TV5MONDE) and learning resources prepared by the teaching team, different topics such as “at the zoo”, “pique-nique” will be covered in different terms.
Through songs, children literature, art and craft, students of 6 years old will develop their creativity and interest for the French language and culture.

Curriculum
Students of 6 years old will be able to enroll in the Kids classes for 7-10 years old following their 7th birthday. The new program for
Young Kids classes, La Récré, enables a smooth transition from Young Kids class to the following Kids class.
