The Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University is seeking to welcome one or more (Senior) Research Associates to work on empirical microeconomic research projects on either tobacco regulation or child health policy.
Child Health Policy
The primary role of the other Research Associate will be to lead research projects in the economics of child health policies, such as school-based health care, and develop related new studies. This work will be conducted with Professor Maria Fitzpatrick and a team from the Brooks School and the Department of Economics.
Tobacco Regulation
The primary role of the Research Associate/Senior Research Associate will be to lead research projects in tobacco regulatory policy economics and develop new related studies. The Cornell Research on Tobacco Regulation (https://sites.google.com/view/cornellcrtr) group, led by Professors Don Kenkel and Alan Mathios of the Brooks School of Public Policy, includes faculty, alumni, and PhD students who publish mainly in economics journals.
