Banco de la República, the Colombian central bank, is seeking to hire new or experienced Ph.D. economists to join its team as researchers/economists.

Successful candidates will be expected to conduct high-quality, policy-relevant research for publication in peer-reviewed journals and to prepare reports for the Bank’s senior management. Areas of interest include macroeconomic theory, applied macroeconomics, macroeconometrics, and public economics.


Applicants should submit a CV, a sample of recent research, three reference letters, and a cover letter explaining their interest in working for Banco de la Republica.
