Regarding the recruitment positions:
In the AI Lab Economics Team, we are looking for researchers who focus on cutting-edge theoretical and applied research in economics combined with machine learning. In this position, our goal is to submit research results to top international journals such as Econometrica, and top conferences such as AAAI, ICML, KDD, Recsys, and NeurIPS.
We are offering a Research Scientist (Permanent) position.

Research Scientist (Permanent)
This is a permanent position. The main goal of this role is to publish research papers that address real-world problems while communicating with the business side. Therefore, a business-level proficiency in Japanese is required.

Requirements for positions:
- A Ph.D. in Economics, Business, or a closely related field
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an interest in economics are also welcome
- Demonstrated ability to write and publish research papers as the lead author in peer-reviewed conferences and journals
- Capability to reproduce research results and conduct further studies based on existing papers
- Proficiency in R and/or Python, as well as other statistical analysis tools
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work with team members from diverse backgrounds, such as researchers from different disciplines, data scientists, and engineers
