Job Description:
We are seeking an economist with expertise in industrial organization to support energy market research, focusing on financial and risk analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and a passion for energy technologies such as nuclear, bioenergy, and hydropower.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply industrial economics to support program goals.
• Use modeling and simulation across fields like nuclear, chemistry, and energy security.
• Analyze market structures, competition, and regulatory impacts.
• Conduct financial and risk assessments.
• Develop models to forecast market behavior and policy effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and present findings.
Qualifications:
• Ph.D. or Master’s in Economics, Finance, or related field with 2+ years’ experience.
• Strong quantitative skills and publication record.
• Preferred: experience in energy market modeling, regulatory policy, or industry consulting.
