BRG Economic, Disputes, & Investigations (EDI) has consistently grown year over year. With that growth comes new opportunities for this year’s job market candidates interested in becoming an expert in their field and solving complex litigation and consulting matters. We need highly intelligent Economists, Financial Economists, and/or Econometricians that want to address real-world applied economics questions, including in the areas of Antitrust, Intellectual Property, and Finance. This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with robust analytical ability, strong organizational and writing skills, and a desire to collaborate as an integral part of our project teams. Ideal candidates will have prior experience and/or a deep interest in litigation or economic consulting. The work will involve both execution and oversight of engagement work streams that may be either quantitative or qualitative in nature, with responsibilities to include design of economic, statistical, and financial analysis, modeling of financial data and markets, management of existing client relationships, development and presentation of client deliverables, management of junior staff, quality control, industry research, and expansion of business. This position offers advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing expert services and consulting firm.


Qualifications:

-Ph.D. degree in Economics with research focus in empirical I/O, applied economics, microeconomics, econometrics, finance, labor from a reputable university;
-Experience in application of econometric modeling techniques;
-Prior intern or work experience in Antitrust, Financial Economics, Securities, Capital Markets would be beneficial;
-Keen interest in economic, statistical, or financial analysis and research;
-Strong record of technical expertise through past publications that you have authored;
-Proven capability with MS Excel and analytical software/relational database program(s) (e.g., SAS, Stata, MS SQL Server, R, SPSS). A desire to expand on those capabilities; and
-Excellent communication, critical thinking, analytical and proven leadership skills.

Salary Range: $180,000 to $260,000 per year.
