The Department of Economics at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, Norway invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor. Applicants from any field of economics are welcome. The appointment starts in August 2026.

The Department of Economics at BI is an active research environment with over 25 international faculty members and a strong PhD program. The tenure-track position lasts seven years, carries a low teaching load, and offers an internationally competitive salary. The department provides ample support for research-related activities and conference travel and maintains a publication-bonus system for selected journals.

Applicants should hold (or expect to complete) a PhD in Economics or a related field by the start date and demonstrate potential for high-quality research publishable in leading journals.
