Do reminders increase the amount of time parents spend reading to their children?

is a PhD candidate at the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy. He sat down for an interview at the 2023 òòò½Íø poster session to talk about his RCT aiming to use behavioral tools to increase parental reading time with low-income parents of young children in Chicago. Contrary to expectations, he found that reminders actually decreased literacy skills despite no change in reading time.
