Call for Papers: IDB Young Economist Award
Submission deadline: July 15, 2025
The Inter-American Development Bank is announcing the 2025 edition of the IDB Young Economist Award, which is open to PhD candidates of any age graduating from doctoral programs in Economics in 2025.
The award seeks to recognize an outstanding paper with a clear and significant focus on topics related to economics in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The winner will receive fully covered travel expenses to attend the 2nd IDB Research Conference, scheduled for September 15 and 16, 2025 in Washington, D.C., where they will have an opportunity to engage with economists from the IDB Research Department.
