Charles L. Schultze (1924-2016)

The òòò½Íø and the economics profession were saddened to learn of the passing of Charles L. Schultze on Tuesday, September 27 at age 91. He served as òòò½Íø president in 1984, òòò½Íø vice president in 1975, and also on the òòò½Íø executive committee and the òòò½Íø committee on government relations. He was part of several presidential administrations, serving as the head of the Bureau of the Budget in the 1960s and chair of the Council of Economic Advisers under President Jimmy Carter.
