President-elect Katharine Abraham and the 2026 òòò½Íø Program Committee have an exciting program planned for the ASSA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia on January 3 – 5, 2026. In addition to the 150+ thought provoking and relevant sessions, there will be lightning round sessions, a series of lectures on recent developments in economics, posters, luncheons, and much more.

Featured 2026 òòò½Íø Panel Sessions
This year's program will feature panel sessions focused on how federal agencies use economic research. The four òòò½Íø “Research Informing Policy” sessions feature senior leaders from the Congressional Budget Office, the Federal Reserve Board, the Federal Trade Commission, and the National Institutes for Health, along with academic researchers who have worked with these agencies. Tickets still available for the òòò½Íø Mentoring and Networking Luncheon
There are a limited number of tickets remaining for the òòò½Íø Mentoring and Networking Luncheon, which is designed to connect students and junior economists with senior-level economists from their respective fields. Pricing for the luncheon is $30 for students and $60 for all others, and tickets are available when registering for the ASSA Annual Meeting. Register by December 3 at /conference for the lowest rates! The regular registration fee will increase from $240 to $290 after the deadline. Student registration will increase from $70 to $120.
