Grant and Award Opportunities

òòò½Íø Distinguished Service Award
Nominations for the òòò½Íø Distinguished Service Award are due October 15. The award recognizes individuals whose volunteer service has made a significant and lasting impact on the economics profession at the national level. òòò½Íø Award for Outstanding Achievement in Diversity and Inclusion
Applications are open for the òòò½Íø Award for Outstanding Achievement in Diversity and Inclusion. US-based economics departments and other organizations employing significant numbers of economists are encouraged to apply and highlight their successes in fostering diversity and inclusion within the economics profession. CSMGEP Awards and Opportunities
The òòò½Íø Committee on the Status of Minority Groups in the Economics Profession is accepting applications for several awards, grants, and professional development opportunities this fall. Upcoming opportunities include the Departmental Seed Grants for Innovation in Diversity and Inclusion, the Andrew Brimmer Undergraduate Essay Prize, and ASSA Travel Grants. Applications for these opportunities are due October 9.
CSMGEP is also accepting applications for its Small Group Breakfast Meeting for Underrepresented Scholars at the 2027 ASSA Meeting. This professional development and networking opportunity connects junior scholars with senior economists and leaders in the profession. Applications are due October 23.
