Goldin, a Harvard professor who was president in 2013-14, cited the recent election of òòò½Íø officers as an example of progress. She noted that the òòò½Íø has “almost a full house of female officers” and also that the “major journal has had a female editor for a long time.” The Atlantic also quoted CSWEP Board Chair Shelly Lundberg about what made Yellen a particularly powerful role model — “the general acclaim of her performance.”
